Operation Green Light

In support of military veterans statewide and across the country, this Veterans Day, NCACC joins the National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National Association of County Veteran Service Officers (NACVSO) in inviting North Carolina counties to join Operation Green Light. This initiative shows support for veterans lighting county buildings and infrastructure green on November 6 – 12.

More than 700,000 veterans reside in North Carolina’s counties. Operation Green Light illuminates their service and sacrifice. Operation Green light also raises awareness of the county resources available to veterans and their families.

By shining a green light, county governments and our residents will let veterans know that they are seen, appreciated, and supported.”
